We carers, health care assistants, personal assistants and support workers are the unsung heroes of the care industry. Many of us do not seem to value the contribution we make to the well-being of those in care homes, learning disabilities centres and even in private homes.

Let’s accept our role and responsibilities, challenge the current thinking of ‘I am just a carer’ and get noticed and valued!
